I Promise to Pay (1937) starring Chester Morris & Helen Mack to air on TCM in the early morning hours of October 30th. Be sure to catch this one, as it’s rarely shown. I’ve never seen it before so you can bet I’ll be missing out on some much needed beauty sleep!
I’ve just seen Helen Mack in Girls of the Road (1940) and thought she was great so I’m looking forward to seeing her acting alongside Mr. Morris. Here is a publicity still of Helen from I Promise to Pay:
